A real fun and interesting night had by all!

Below:
160M Direction Finding Receiver. (H/Brewed)
PIXY 2 – 80M Mini Transceiver – PP9 PSU – 200MIllwatts out. (H/Brewed)
SOTABEAMS DPS FILTER, (Kit H/Brewed)
QRP SWR Bridge (H/Brewed).
QRP SUDEN Receiver 40M – Built during a “Buildathon.
A SPX-100 Mobile/Portable All Band Whip Antenna.

Below: XIEGU X6100 HF/50MHz ULTRA-PORTABLE TRANSCEIVER.

The other item was a CW transmitter for 80mtrs . This was made up of an EZ80 rectifier for the PSU portion plus an OA2 voltage regulator to power the VFO and buffer amplifier , a ECC81. The output PA was a 5763 . The transmitter is rated a 5-10 watts so is ample for QRP working. The aim had been to send a CW signal from TX to RX but due to local and pleasant QRM , this proved a non starter hi.

The reciever was a Codar CR45. This is a three valve TRF with ECC81, detector AF and a EL84 output . The other valve is an EZ80 rectifier for the power supply . The photos show the chassis and front panel plus a selection of coils that can be used . Coverage is from medium to short waves and CW and SSB can be resolved on the radio with care.
